The short version
Nothing optional loads until you choose. A small banner asks once; "Essentials only" keeps the site to what it needs to work, "Accept all" also lets us measure what people find useful and which campaigns brought them here. You can change your mind any time through Cookie settings in the footer.
Essentials (always on)
- `rv3_seen` — sessionStorage; remembers that you've already seen the intro animation so it plays once per visit. Deleted when you close the tab.
- `rv_sid` — sessionStorage; a random id for our own cookie-free visit statistics (see the Privacy Notice), so one visit counts as one visit. Deleted when you close the tab.
- `rv_consent` — cookie, 180 days; stores the choice you made in the banner so we don't ask again.
- `rv_vid` — cookie, 180 days; a random, anonymous visitor id. It carries no name, email or other personal detail and is not shared with advertising networks.
- `rv_ref` — cookie, 180 days; set only if you arrive through a referral link (`/r/…`) or a hand-off from revify.no. It holds the referral code, the anonymous visitor id, the time of arrival and the page you landed on — nothing about you. We keep the first valid referral; a later link does not overwrite it. It exists so the person who recommended us, and you, get what our referral programme promises.
- `rv_utm` — cookie, 180 days; the campaign labels from the link you clicked (source, medium, campaign, content), first arrival and latest arrival. No personal data.
Referral links carry a short code only — never names, emails or phone numbers.
These are strictly necessary to run the site and the referral programme you may have arrived through, and they never leave for other websites.
Analytics and heatmaps (only if you agree)
- Google Analytics 4 (via Google Tag Manager) — anonymous usage statistics: pages, events like "referral link copied", campaign labels. We send no names, emails, phone numbers or form text, and IP addresses are not stored.
- Microsoft Clarity — session replays and heatmaps that show how pages are used. Every form field, and every part of a page that could show personal information, is masked before recording. Clarity's own cookies (`clck`, `clsk`) are set only after you agree.
Advertising measurement (only if you agree)
- Meta Pixel and LinkedIn Insight Tag — measure whether a campaign on those platforms led to a visit or an enquiry, so we can stop paying for what doesn't work. No advanced matching: we pass nothing personal to either platform. Their cookies (`fbp`, `lisugr`, `bcookie`) are set only after you agree.
Until you agree, Google's consent mode keeps all advertising and analytics storage denied and none of the scripts above are loaded at all.
Web fonts
The site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com). To fetch a font file, your browser makes a request to Google, and that request includes your IP address. It's the one call that leaves our own infrastructure before you make a choice, so we'd rather tell you than not.
If you log in to the client portal
Our client portal lives on revify.no. If you log in there, we set strictly necessary authentication and session cookies so the login works and stays secure. Those are required to provide the service you asked for and are covered by your client agreement with us, not by this notice.
Changing your choice
Open Cookie settings in the footer of any page and save a new choice. Withdrawing consent stops the optional tools from that moment; cookies they already set can be removed in your browser (Settings → Privacy → cookies and site data). Blocking storage on this site won't break anything; you'll see the intro animation more often and referral credit may not be tracked.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as "Essentials only" and don't show the banner at all. We don't sell or share personal information.
Changes
If we add or remove anything on this page, we'll update the effective date. Bigger changes are flagged on the site before they go live.
